Who: LANDEROS New York, F/W '16 Presentation

Overall: If you don't know about Landeros New York, it's a unisex label founded by New York based designer, Andre Landeros Michel in 2013. There has been a growing buzz about this brand because it pushes the boundaries of genderless fashion. The garments blur the line between male and female, playing and experimenting with the traditional and unconventional. The label is based in being dark, romantic while still remaining gender neutral. For Fall '16 Andre was inspired by the New York late 1980’s and 90’s club kid scene with deconstructed elements that are combined with classic menswear tailoring. My fav piece of the collection was the Landeros's staple which is the wide-leg trouser that are available in different wool blends. I love what the this label is doing and their approach to dressing, being as this is a fairly new label It would've been helpful to see the clothes on an even amount of female and male models at the presentation.
