Today unfortunately I just found out that Ashley Baker the former Glamour editor and blogger for Slaves to Fashion was the Glamour editor who made racist remarks about African-Americans shouldn't sport afros to work. Some of you may remember that Ashley Baker was featured in my video when I'd interviewed Suze Yalof Schwartz. So to pass through her blog today to I find out that it was actually her was very disappointing to me. Being African-American myself I feel anyone of any color or shape should wear their hair as they please. I don't have any animosity towards Ashley Baker and I wish her the best for the future.
