With a new chief designer office in house at the Guess Inc., Sharleen Lazear made her mark with a heavily Nashville inspired for the Fall/Winter '14 collection. For Guess, expect to see shirts and denim of course but with more embellishments that resemble many of country western motifs. There were more added texture of fringe, suede and multicolored furs. Maricano which is the more of the glam side of the brand, emphasized gold hardware in many of the pieces such as the back of shoes, to actually chunky gold chain embellished on jackets. Guess Inc., is slowly trying to turn a new leaf for their brand and I think the consumer will appreciate that.
