The Metropolitan Gala was just a few hours ago and the red carpet was filled with celebrities and ballgowns as this year theme was, Charles James: Beyond Fashion. There was some hoopla this year because the dress code that was issued by Anna Wintour according to WWD was, "white tie and decorations." Everyone followed suit and looked great. There were no risk takers on the carpet in comparison to years before. But I did appreciate the those celebs that wore full structured ball gowns.
