Sometimes people in the fashion takes things too seriously or don't realize that there's another world with problems outside of their workdesk. However watching Rachel Zoe talk about motherhood. she really has put things in perspective for her fashion empire as a mom. She's a stylist, business woman, designer and now Mother, that is truly bananas.

Jeans for the whole family that is moderately priced may sounds too good to be true, but it is. Levi's Strauss and Co., the denim giant launched Denizen Jeans that will be sold exclusively at Target stores and Target.com. Denizen was orginally launched in Asia in 2010 and other markets around the world, now it's available on American soil. Prices for Denizen jeans range from $17.99 to $29.99, which extremely affordable. I attended the launch party for Denizen and felt up the jeans myself and they were extremely soft and didn't look or feel like an usually $30 pair of jeans. Now, you don't have to break the bank to buy good jeans.

Since then the label has gone on to make incredible wearable feminine friendly clothes. Look at the Sretsis website for stockist information and their current lookbook.

Sometimes we are so busy in our lives we need to reflect on what we achieved, what we saw and where we are at. I can't count the many times I've been to NYFW at Bryant Park, but maybe I should have taken a step back realize what that the Tents really mean to the fashion industry and to New York. I guess I don't need to do that, as the documentary, Tents captures the history of the beginning of the Bryant Park Tents to what it is now. Check out the trailer above.
The Tents is a documentary film by James Belzer that will be play at the NewFest Film Festival.

Christmas in July indeed, that was the appropriative theme for the HSN Holiday Gift Guide Event. Even though It was scorching outside, I was bombarded with Christmas decorations, Christmas music and faux snow, it was quite fun and briefly put me in the Holiday spirit.
Above is an ornament decorated by designer Adrienne Landau. HSN have collaborated with mulitple designers and other celebrities to decorate an ornament to help raise money for the St. Jude Children Hospital.

I recently spied these Cobalt blue jeans by J. Brand and I'm in love. I think this would be the time to take my own trend advice and go for a bold color in jeans. I never ventured outside of the color spectrum when it came to jeans in the market such as black and dark blue rinse. Cobalt blue is a perfect color to spice it up for the summer. Also this a great transitional item come Fall.

Kate Moss got married to Jamie Hince, she looked happy and the rest of the wedding party looked beautiful. The style of the wedding was very hippie, the the young bridesmaids had flower headdress and wore white sheath dresses. Fashionista.com twitter asked the question, Disappointed in Kate Moss wedding Dress? My retweet was, "Nope! It's not my wedding. Whatever makes the bride happy". The wedding dress was designed by Galliano and was very understated and fit the aesthetic of the wedding. I can not have huge expectations or demand what someone regardless of it's a supermodel or member of the Royal Family, should wear on their wedding day. It's a day meant for them and their close family not to appease fashion bloggers.
Last but not least, the Christian Dior Fall 2011 runway show in Paris, le sigh. I appreciate Cathy Horyn critiques so when I saw her tweet of, "More from Dior. Lot's of strangeness here, folks." I knew this wasn't good. When every editor and journalist came from the show their reaction of the show (without John Galliano) were the same. With a major shake up as John Galliano getting fired from a legendary house as Dior, it will definitely take time for the house to find some consistency. I always believe things will get worse before they get better. Lets hope Dior CEO Sidney Toledano doesn't make the same mistake that the former Emanuel Ungaro CEO Mounir Moufarrige did.
