I LOVE NY T-Shirt Initiative Benefits Save the Garment Center

Last night at The Carlton Hotel local designers debutted their one-of-kind t-shirts for charity. 32 New York-based fashion designers launched an I LOVE NY t-shirt initiative to support Save the Garment Center, a non-profit organization that's geared to preserve New York’s Garment District and support factories, suppliers and designers through education and advocacy. You will be able to purchase the 32 uniquely designed t-shirts exclusively on Century 21’s website for $10.
What's great about the I LOVE NY t-shirt program is that we are introduced to different designers that believes in producing locally. On the manufacturing side it's provides jobs to the workers in the factories. However as consumers, we have to be aware of clothes that are produced locally and support the cause.
