Where: The Salon at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
Overall: Meskita, designer Alessandra Meskita is from Brazil debutted her collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The first look that come out made a statement of where Alessandra was directing this collection. The first look consisted of a neoprene baseball cap, neoprene pleated fitted coat and neoprene structural swimsuit underneath. The neoprene was the main ingredient of the collection. It came in various in mordern everyday ideas such as a blazer and skirt suit...this look would be fun for the office, but i'm not sure if it would be practical. However Alessandra did have practical pieces in her collection such as chiffon blouses, jumpsuits and bomber jackets. It was great to see this brand show structural pieces and still balance it with easy ready-to-wear pieces.
