Who: David Hart Spring/Summer 2017 Presentation
Where: Industria Studios, NYC
Overall: David Hart is one of my favorite menswear designer to watch. Even though this brand is relatively young, last season he blew many of us away with his jazz-inspired Fall presentation. For Spring'17, David turned his attention to the West coast surf culture of the sixties for the modern man. Don't expect this man to be touting around in a wetsuit with a surfboard, instead he's wearing loose fitting blazer and tailored trousers.The palette is heavily enriched will blues and other jewels tones paying homage to the tropical life of a surfer. On the causal side, there are David Hart's version of the Hawaiian prints of palm trees and leaves reflected polo t-shirts and shorts.
