Summer is not over yet and you still have to time to hit beach or just lounge around enjoying the warm sun on your skin. If you're doing one or both, I have a few books that will definitely keep you occupied. Always remember, reading is fundamental. See my Summer reads below.




Here Comes the Sun by Nicole Dennis

A book close to my heart, author Nicole Dennis-Benn get colorful and as she paints a picture of her homeland Jamaica. She takes the readers on the journey about the island that many don’t get to experience.




A teenager goes by the name of Evie Boyd gets drawn into cult during one summer in the 1960s. She get heavily infatuated with an older woman, Suzanne and follows her into the cult which turn unexpectedly unsafe.


This Too Shall Pass by Milena Busquets
If you love Stella Got Her Groove Back and Eat, Pray, Love, you will be delighted by this book. Bianca after dealing with a sudden death of someone extremely close to her, she decided it was time for a change of scenery. She returns to Cadaques in Spain with plans to start her life over in love and new relationships.


The Assistants By Camille Perri

A lot of people who have entered the workforce know what it's like being an assistant, however for Tina Fontana, not much went as planned. Her efforts to try to pay off her student loans, she wounded up in a large embezzlement scheme she didn't see coming.


Cherry By Lindsey Rosin
Follow Four friends as they make a pact to pop their cherries before they graduate from high school.
