Delpozo Pre-Fall 2016

Pre-Fall '16 collections are underway and how much I love the wearability of a transitional collections there were very few looks that grab my attention. However while I going through I did notice that the collections was jam packed with accessories, which I will post about that later. Now on to my favorites, there were ranges of styles that I appreciated from Fausto Puglisi's urban cowboy to Christopher Kanes's intergalatic-pop art graphics. My ultimate favorite is the Delpozo usage of volume, structure and minimal color palette. See my other favs below.

Denim: Christopher Kane, Rachel Roy, Jason Wu

Even though New York Fashion week is less than 2 weeks away, the Resort collections are still trickling in. I have 3 Inspected trends that I think are worthy of some attention.

Above, is the Denim trend. Many designers are venturing their way into incorporating more denim in their collection. However, these denim looks either were very casual as a romper or structured in a jacket.

Inspected Trend: Ostrich Feathers

One thing that can be a little scary is incorporating feathers in one's wardrobe. What I do love about what I saw on the Fall '13 runways was not an over-fanciful coordination of ostrich feathers, but it was tone down. Jason Wu toughen it up by designing it with a leather turtleneck top. Proenza Schouler and Erdem paired their ostrich feather skirts with long sleeves tops and gloves. There's this constant idea that ostrich feather equals glam, but it don't always have to be.
