Venexiana by Kati Stern Spring 2008 Collection - Day 1

The Venexiana show was delightful, eventhough it took a while before it start, I believe due to the L.A.M.B show that was shown previously. Anyway the looks that first appeared on the runway I absolutely adores. The look was very early 1930-1940's navy inspired women waiting for their husbadns to come home from war. I really loved the cream wide leg pants, trim short wasted jacket and cream eyelet trim dress. As the evening wear came down the runway some of my favorites were cream and silver lace with satin wrapped empire waist and the silver pailette on cream chiffon gown. In conclusion the colors which was muted beige, cream, navy, blush (light red), silver and a few floral print dresses, the standing ovation at the end of the show was much deserved.
