Get It Now: White Track Sole Sandals

Recently I've inspected many times on the street that white soles are invading the pavement. There's a lot of white traction soles that retailers have variety of, so if you want a thick or slim sole or anything in between there are options for that. My personal favorite is the Selma sandal (above), I gathered a few picks that if you want to get a grip on these sandals.

Today is the Lacoste and Urban Outfitter Sneakers launch. The inspiration behind these sneakers is based in Lacoste's tennis roots and the preppy and sporty trend for Summer/Spring 2014. Here's a little gem regarding these sneakers,

Yes I love a good wholesome sweatshirt but what I love more is a twist on a Disney memorabilia. I saw this street style pic from ELLE.com and I love the idea of getting a cartoon sweatshirt or t-shirt and turning it into an edgy outfit. You no longer need to be at an amusement park to take advantage of a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt. Retailers such as Forever21 are selling them, so you can easily and inexpensively buy them and style it any way your heart desires. (wink wink)

First it was the cobalt jeans and now it's leopard print jeans that are a hot trendy item in the streets.

I don't know about you, I'm reluctant on buying any trendy item especially jeans for close to $200. People like Carine Roitfeld and Fergie probably can dish out a easy $200 on those Current/Elliott Leopard jeans but I'm a girl on a budget that would like to dabble in the trends without breaking the bank. If I feel this way, I know the readers of Chic Inspector probably feel the same way.

One of the best things I did on my Holiday break didn't involve going to a beach (even though that may have been better) was online shopping. After Christmas I threw myself to the web to see if I can gift myself some chic pieces without breaking the bank. Urban Outfitter had some really great pieces on sale plus they had free shipping at the time. ASOS always has free shipping which is always a thumbs up.

Inspired by Boyfriend Blazer and Denim Vest

The beginning of this week was incredibly blah with the constant rain and the crazy wind. However not to be left in the funk of dressing drab I instead embraced it. I love the idea of layering two outerwear pieces together. When I was leaving out of the house with my denim vest, instead of getting a trench, parka or raincoat I choose my boyfriend blazer as the best option at that time. I didn't want anything bulking but a jacket that was a light fabrication. In the end, I really like the outcome of the contrast of the two layers.
