The beginning of this week was incredibly blah with the constant rain and the crazy wind. However not to be left in the funk of dressing drab I instead embraced it. I love the idea of layering two outerwear pieces together. When I was leaving out of the house with my denim vest, instead of getting a trench, parka or raincoat I choose my boyfriend blazer as the best option at that time. I didn't want anything bulking but a jacket that was a light fabrication. In the end, I really like the outcome of the contrast of the two layers.
