The Mood of Activism During New York Fashion Week

It's no secret that people are proudly voicing their opinions online and in the streets protesting. Since the election and the President's executive orders, people eyes are open to the targeting of certain group of people. For Fashion Week in New York, some designers took a moment in their fashion shows to show solidarity in their own way.  Ways of music at the fashion shows and most popular through t-shirts, as you can see below. I would've love to see this unity when black unarmed men was getting gunned by the police, but I guess something major as this election had to happened for people to realize why a group of people feel like their lives don't matter (read this article). Making political statements are great and needed because thats what fashion is really about, designing a visual statement.
